Our Story

Community Faith Chapel was founded in 1979, by Brother Doyle Russell.  He served as the pastor for many years.  When he reached the time to retire, Brother Gary Lester stepped in as pastor.  After Brother Gary came Brother Rick Cooper who pastored for several years.  Brother Rick continues to attend and serve the congregation and community.  Brother Colt Cypret served as a pastor to Community Faith recently,  and currently Brother Jerad Finch is  Community Faith's pastor.  Our church has been very blessed with sound men to shepherd the Lord's flock here at Community Faith.  Each pastor has brought something different to the congregation and they all have a special place in our hearts.

Community Faith Chapel has a vision of reaching our surrounding community by showing them the love of Christ and leading them by example.  Our desire is to be a beacon of light in the area of Cassville.  We want to lead our community to Christ and see Him move in our wonderful town.  We have started doing this by having monthly community outreaches.  Check out our event page to see what is happening next. 

At Community Faith Chapel our top priority is spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.   Matthew 18:12 says "How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doth he not leave the ninety and nine, and goeth into the mountains, and seeketh that which is gone astray?"  We are diligently praying and asking God to lead us and guide us to those who have gone astray.  We want to build the kingdom of God!  We desire to do this not for our glory, but for God's glory to be shown.
